This is my interpretation of the Norwegian myth of the Wolves of Ironwood. The tale tells of a witch named Ironwood who became jealous of Odin's powers when he created the sun, moon and stars. She sent two wolves into orbit, one to devour the sun, the other to devour the moon. Occasionally, one of them succeeds in taking a bite out of their prey, causing an eclipse.
